If anyone wants the VIN sticker for their bus, there is a guy in the U.S who sells repops quite cheap - my Jubilee bug runs one in SoCal which says it's a '74!!! They are only like $10ea, and if a few of you got together you would save on postage.

I didnt suss is was a vin, I though it was an auction number ...

Mine is 238055680, so yours is late Oct - early Nov 67?

Sorry i should have said vin#...

looks like it's been removed so here's the low down...

It's a Nevada Panel(rot free aparently) which for 15 years was used as a sign for a VW dealer in Nevada, It had Western VW and a big blue arrow on both sides pointing to the dealer. when i bought it i was told it was a 68 which figured as it has an exposed fuel tank etc but didn't know the vin# so wasn't sure when. I was pretty stoked when the number came through, i guessed it would be around November 67 time which from yours confirms that
There's quite a few bits missing but i have most so no real biggie. rear arches have been cut but i can sort that too and for the price i think it was still a bargain.
After deciding to sell both of my deluxe projects i was thinking if i had another early bay it would have to be an early early panel and this one just appeared as if it was fate

Cool bus but i already have a 68 original paint Delta green deluxe/camper(all be it an August non push button) which i'm selling as i already have a camper...

plus i would'nt be lining that there dealers pockets with any of my hard earned cash for a number of reasons...

i hadn't done the deal... and i was in no rush either but this one came up on the samba on friday(i think it was) and i thought it looked like the right one... funny how these things happen isn't it
