My westy R n R won't lock to put the bed back. I recently noticed someone selling westy R n R springs, I don't have any. Are they supposed to and where would they go?

It's a pain in the arse having to climb in the boot to push up the back rest, prop it up n then get in the cargo etc. I'm sure I'm not alone in having to do it this way, hopefully temporarily!

Mine didn't have springs - unfortunately not go it anymore so can't take any pictures of how it was set up but it was a dead simple affair putting it up/down - maybe something is out of line or bent? I used to get my hands under the seat and lift/pull and it'd happily flap down into bed mode - putting it back was the exact reverse, lift it a little and push it back/down and it'd flip the back up and slot back into place!

Yes, it did used to in the usual manner. It was always a little dodgy, but has given up completely now :roll:
