The battery that is fitted to my bus is some dodgy American thing with the terminal posts on the front side and when the bus was delivered both terminals were touching the bodywork as no clamp fitted.

So whats the recommended battery to fit, i will have another battery i will be using as a leisure, so do i need to keep within a certain limit so as not to put the dynamo under stress?

any that will fit in the bat tray but make shure the terminals face to engine side ,get the highest amper hour you can 65 plus.more punch for cold starts and will last longer if your dynamo cant keep up

As long as the battery has its clamp holding it in place it really doesent matter whether the terminals are to the left or right.

However, running any vehicle without the battery clamped down is a really bad idea. Anybody who doesent know why should find a good garage and leave any work to professionals.

Thanks.

I have a clamp for both sides so new batteries will be secure.
