What is this steering box from...?

I bought this from someone on "here" yonks ago as a spare as a T2 early bay right hand drive steering box - but it seems the number indicates it's something else.

Anyone know what it is from - google doesn't show anything for this number...

Correct Part Number is 214 415 049F not 214 415 131A ?

When I hold it against the box in my 1968 bus it "looks" the part...

That part number is for the cover - steering gear case RHD

But it's still not the correct number for an EB bus...?

That number isn’t the part number for the steering box. It should be on a small aluminium plate on the side.

This is mine LHD though.

211415205F is a steering box worm gear

214 415 205F is case, steering gear RHD from chassis number 219127055.

211 415 049F is steering gear without steering drop arm LHD

214 415 049F is steering gear without steering drop arm RHD

Anything steering related prefaced 211 is LHD or common part, and 214 is RHD only.

George, don't believe everything Heritage tell you.....
