what paint!!!!!!!!!!!

Got a pair of 2nd hand heat exchangers to fit, they are solid but have a bit of surface rust, what paint would be best, obviously the exhaust part would need high temp paint but could i use hammerite etc on the metal cover part of the exchanger or does this get to hot for it, never had a great amount of success with high temp paint on exhausts etc. Or do i leave as is and not bother????

just painted genuine exc with weld through zinc rich primer then used airesol spray smootherite,but not fitted them yet as only took out motor today,if you can wait a few weeks let you know :lol:
