Ok so it's only 3 weeks now till me and the better half travel around Europe for 2 months. Roughly 4k miles. Wanted to know what spares you would all take

Credit card
Apart from that i would take the usual culprits,
Set of points
condensor
HT leads
Coil
Fan belt (and tools)
Accelerator / clutch cables
Spark plugs

personaly I would take a lot, depending on how handy you are with a spanner. but my kit would include the following

Tools -
Full socket set
Trolly jack
Axle stands
screw driver set

Parts -
Fan Belt
Rotor arm
Points
Condensor
Clutch Cable
Axelerator cable
Fuel Filter
bulb kit (I think this is required any way)
if you have one take a yellow reflective jacket
Oil

Possibly over the top, but i think they may be worth taking-
at least one set of front bearings and one set of rear.
Tyre foam, incase your spare gets used!
cable ties

I may have gone over the top there, but i'm sure someone will be along soon to help you decide.

AA card

Did you want something Matt? Or is it something secret squirrell :msn4: Had a pm from you that you deleted before I got to read it :?:

i dont think you can go over the top,if you can fit it in, take it,dont want to ruin ya holls for the sake of leaving something silly out

Don't forget you should be changing the oil every 3000 miles. Do a full service a couple of weeks before you go (and I mean EVERYTHING) and then do an oil change half way round :)
