im guessing this is glue that was used for the headliner .. any suggestions on a safe way to remove the glue without harming the paint?

Tar and glue remover, autoglym make some. I would mask off around the head lining thought, not sure how that would react with it!

Hehe. Mine had exactly the same glue mark, must have been the same guy on the assembly line. I got it off with some panel wipe. The solvent that you wipe the body down with prior to painting. Smells like dry cleaning fluid - maybe that's what it is - I'm not sure.

Lighter fluid every time - I had to wipe down a whole bus with it once but it removes any adhesive and leaves the paint alone. Great stuff!

(Just don't smoke whilst you do it!)

thanks Guys sticky mess all off - now I can appreciate the cab without my eye being drawn to the yellow splodge, such a small thing makes such a difference aesthetically :D
