Hi,
I'm going to view an early bay this weekend - which is advertised as a 67 deluxe, and I'm looking for some advice on what to check/look for.
Here is a link to some photo's of the bus:

From looking at the pictures the usual deluxe features are not evident i.e. belt-line trim, window trim, bumper trim, front-grill trim. It also looks like it has non-opening quarterlights and no clock in the dash.
The seller emailed me the chassis number (228027737) which I think makes it a 67 (68 model year) microbus - but not a deluxe.
A deluxe would be 248------ wouldn't it? Am I correct?
At some point a camping interior (from a 69 the seller thinks) has been fitted - but the usual Westy plate is not on the lower section of the rock-n-roll bed, but instead above the door on the wardrobe. The interior looks like a Westy to me, but the layout is appears strange? Can anybody comment on this?
The bus was imported from Belgium a few weeks ago, and as far as I know it is not registered or MOT'd. It does appear to be fairly solid - but if it's not actually a deluxe - or a Westy - or MOT'd, how much might these affect the asking price (currently £6250).
Thank you,
Mike
