Hey all.

I've been checking out companies on the internet that supply sound insulation and deadening products. There's a hell of a lot out there. Noise killer, dynamat, second skin etc. prices do vary though. Who's got what? Does it make a big difference?

I used Silent Coat Sound Deadening / Proofing Car Door Kit in the cab area.

Makes the doors shut with a nice thunk sound!

I think it has made a bit of a difference but I'm not overly concerned by the noise tbh. I also put some aluminium foil bubble-wrap after the silent coat just for a bit of extra heat insulation in the cab when driving although getting the stock heaters working properly has done a lot more for warmth when driving along, and its not really a problem now.

With all the windows in a Westy, and the massive hole in the roof heating is always going to be an issue  But thats a whole other matter!

For noise insulation I know some completely cover the engine deck area and down behind the R&R bed. I didn't want to do that though.
