Hi Stuart, Thanks for your enquiry and sorry for not getting back to you earlier. I am based in Manchester and I hope to attend a variety of shows this year including VW shows. I should be going down to London area next month, I'll let you know, or if you can get a few other vehicles together I will do a run down to specially.

I'm interested but it's easier for me to drive up to manchester, my missus lives up that way.

According to vzi "He basically polishes the tyre to get rid of the crap and then uses a rubber paint of sorts."

The bay area rods website claims theirs are "machine applied"

Wonder what the difference is?

guessing they are both the same, just depends how mechanical something has to be to be called a machine

paintbrush held in a clamp that centres on middle of wheel & spins = machine

i reckon

Mike F - this would look sweet on your van

random whitewall tyre fact - clean dirty whitewalls with alloy wheel brake dust remover - come up sparkling and white again
