Well, we’re almost there! Lots of things you need to pack – the forecast is mixed, so lots of layers.
Wetsuits if you want to go in the water. A large part of the adventure playground is over or around or even in water, so definitely wetsuits for the kids. There’s also a small beach, so buckets and spades too.
Mountain bikes, kayaks, walking shoes – it’s our end of year party and as you probably already know it’s a Scottish Halloween this year – try some haggis on Sunday morning – good for soaking up the whiskey.
The new site is a new challenge and we’ll camp you up as smoothly as we possibly can, but there’s bound to be one or two hiccups so would ask that you bear with us and, to help us all, we have a map of the site on our programme, so follow the signs. Each pitch is clearly marked with a yellow numbered and named sign and club areas also marked.
We’ve a full programme of entertainment for you but, as we all know so well this year, may be subject to change with weather conditions but we’re confident that it will be a great weekend for everyone.
Remember, it’s our party as well, so a big smile for the staff who are here to party with you. Let’s make it a big one.
Gates open at mid-day until 10pm on Friday for campers. Any extra people travelling with you and staying on your pitch but who don’t have advance tickets, can purchase tickets on arrival. (£26 for adults, £10 for teenagers 13-16 and £5 for 5-12s). The show is only open to day visitors on Saturday and Sunday (10am-6pm) – cost is £6 per person per day.
DON’T FORGET – 2nd Ashburton exit (Peartree Junction) driving south on the A38 from Exeter.
HAVE A SAFE JOURNEY – LOOKING FORWARD TO SEEING YOU ALL.
