Wiper switch problems

My switch may be playing up . Slow speed has no response wipers don't move they used to but very slow but now nothing but high speed works fine . So the wiper spindles must be ok could this be a faulty switch or the motor.
Any ideas not had the switch out yet but may get round to it soon just looking for ideas and what to look out for as don't what to take wiper motor out as looks like a right pain to get out.

If it used to run REALY slow on the slow speed and now stopped totaly it sounds to me like something is trying to sieze. Wiper spindles maybe?
Id try and disconnect the wiper mechanism at the motor and see if it moves freely by hand.
