Annoyingly on one of my Devon roof bunks, one of the two bolts that holds the rear scissor bracket to the side bulk head has gotten lost
The top bolt appears to be around a m8 but I can't quite work out what size the bottom bolt is.
The thread is too tight for a m7 bolt and I don't want to retap it if there is a correct bolt size to use. I assume, like most things on a 1971 camper, that it is metric but could it be imperial as it was retro fitted by Devon in the UK?

Anyone have any ideas ?

Think you may have answered your own question there. I’ve got a massive Devon roof bunk in mine and I’m not sure if it was intentional but there were all sorts of threads and screws in mine. Your post reminded me of what a pain it was retro fitting it. There were also a nice and varied range of screws and heads too.

Ozziedog,,,,,,,,,and the best of luck with that bud.:)
