Well ,,, that was some weekend. Luckily we stayed off the booze be cause of Nigel’s fantastic tutoring. Insert large growing facial appendage here.
Most managed to get there, but unfortunately two didn’t. Aldaol had newish teething problems and Regina van was guzzling petrol through her crankcase but the guys still rolled down and came to say hello , fantastic.
So fair play all round. Chatting to all the guys around the fire etc, we were all of the similar opinions and thought patterns that there would be a plethora of early bays plonked around various parts of the site in general camping etc etc. Somebody carried out an impromptu survey while walking the complete site with their gorgeous little dog and came back with the info that there were only approximately three early bays on the whole site that weren’t down with us guys and another two or three up around the traders and Nick had his own little batch in the opposite corner to us. So they appear to be getting a bit thin on the ground. Great fun was had through the entire weekend and some are only now recovering. Our very own fabulous Early Bay Trophy was captured neatly by Scottie with his van Lottie so he gets to hang on to that for a whole year. Well done bud, a very deserving win

Wonderful photos Ben. Ben and his bud turned up and added to the carnage. He’s a lot bigger than I’d imagined too. That picture on the end there is a part of our line up, really good. Possibly one of our best line ups ever with limited numbers. How many vans do you think Ben?

Ozziedog,,,,,,,,,,mine was definitely the dirtiest :)
Reckon there were maybe 15 early bays in all.
(I’m still recovering! Nearly there!!)

That was my guess sort of, I’ve been trying to remember more but I think that was about it. Dan and Ruby joined the line a bit later and one other ,, so yeah , about fifteen there and two wounded and down but definitely not out en route. I just spotted that picture of the fish in Parsley sauce. Boil in the bag frozen fish and Idahoan mash spud is one of my favourite go to meals when camping. Plus the fish defrosting helps keep the cool box reasonable. And a tin of corned beef and some Idahoan mash is a fab feed for them Starvin Marvin moments and ready in the blink of an eye or the boiling of a kettle.

Ozziedog,,,,,,,,,,,,,, Real good to meet you. :)

Great weekend, awsume to meet with everyone again and make some new friends.

Weather was awesome other than the Saturday. Cool line up. Awsume bay camping village!
