Hi.Does anyone know where to get gearbox internal parts from? I have a 1970 type 2 with a standard gearbox which I think is a CA code. I need the ball socket which goes in the selector mechanism under the nosecone on the gearbox and the bushes and seal for the selector where it goes in the nosecone.

I'm having trouble finding some window seals for my 1970 early dormy microbus (factory windows).I need the ones for the drivers side middle and drivers side rear (RHD) I was trying to get them from VW Heritage as they are the only ones who list them specifically for earlybays.The other companies...

I'm going to be fitting my windows in with new seals soon,probably from VW Heritage.When fitting the seals do I need to use any sealant or anything else? I was thinking of putting a smear of waxoil on the window frames before fitment,is this a good idea?

Has anyone got an old knackered gearbox lying around with a bell housing on it? It doesn't need to be from an early bay,I just want it to bolt on to an engine put a starter in and bench test an engine.

Some pictures of earlybays at Stonor Park.There wasn't too many earlybay's in the show and shine,but quite a few dotted around the car park and auto jumble areas,heres a selection. This last one was heavily cusomised and had a sweet Subaru engine in the back,not an earlybay though.
