1971 RHD Early with TDi Engine

Forgot to mention - the brakes are disks and pads up front (with new disks and pads in 2013 - less than 4k ago), the rears are drums which have had new cylinders, springs and pins in my ownership. Very recently the upper fluid chamber and pipe has been replaced and also during my ownership it...

1971 RHD Early with TDi Engine

Here we have for sale my beloved 1971 Early Bay VW T2 with a few differences! I bought the van in 2012 in a disassembled state and spent a year putting back together and making improvements along the way! The van has had an engine conversion and now runs a 1Z TDI 90bhp engine from a late Audi...

I had to side cutter a little bit of the end off my plunger lol

    Windscreen washers

That's the only downside, I have had the idea that I'll take the switch out, pop a little blob on bluetak on the end and hopefully the plunger won't be so loose!

I bought one of these: http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Dacia-Dokker-1-6-ACP-Universal-Screen-Washer-Bottle-and-Pump-Kit-Trade-Price-/351018306135?pt=UK_CarsParts_Vehicles_CarParts_SM&hash=item51ba524a57" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; And hid it behind the kick panel (as my bus didn't...

Top 10 spares to take on a Europe road trip

When we did this last year (albeit with a Diesel engine) I took various nuts and bolts, fuses, bulbs, cable ties, screws, washers and gaffer tap. Wedged 2 litres of oil behind the battery, always carries drinking water on the van anyway. Got me out of trouble.

    Dilemma

Would T25 syncro steelies fit? They're a bit wider aren't they?

    Dilemma

What you can't use the original 5x112 13" steelies, even with the near standard ride height? That sucks!

Lowering the bay - a little bit...

HI guys, Can you help me out please! I'm very confused. I want to lower the bay, just a little bit as it sits sooo high at the moment. I only want to go down a couple of inches at the most, we have a radiator under the van between the chassis rails so we need the air flow under there. What's...
