How do you go about drilling and turning a front beam?

There is a forum on thesamba that covers the beams, some have done major mods and there is a posting at the bottom of page 17, a pic of a Puma style adjuster is posted. From there it's a hit and miss on the subject. But it mentions doing the drilling and turning with the beam left in the bus. I...

Engine conversion Type 1 or Type 4 engine

Rebuild the 1600 and make it 1776, small cam, bigger valve heads and either a progressive 2 barrel carb or dual carbs. 8) It will fit right back in the engine compartment and cost less than the T4. ;)

Day 5 All of the AC system is out now. Along with about ten pounds of dirt! With the dash now removed I can inspect the nose more and see how the rust under the windshield looks. I can also make sure the wiring is okay and get it straighten up. I can also get a better idea of what...

    Now I have a '73 Bay Camper

I now have a '73 bay X westy. Last weekend I traded a super body with a bad tranny for a rolling hull with a good tranny. The guy picked it up for the interior for his westy. Didn't want this anymore. I had sold my '70 westy months ago and needed to have a bay back in my life. Going to...
