1968 (67) Deluxe Microbus (updated)

Introducing our (very) early bay imported from the states.

Built on the 12 of september 1967. Exported to New Mexico then lived in Florida.

Had it about a month, but that time has been spent sorting out all the engine problems :roll:

All original paint, except the front panel which was repainted after it got caught in a sandstorm in New Mexico.

The wheels are of an audi a4 because of the late bay brakes all round. These wheels will be changed at some point. It does stop rather well though.

There's still a couple of small things to sort but it's pretty much done.

We're well pleased with it!

Wicked Bus..... but 'is' that Dove Blue?
Looks a little more Neptune Blue to me.... of course it could just be the light, plus I'm not sure if Neptune was available in 67?

I have no idea what shade of blue it is.
I'm guessing you can work it out from the m plate?
