Love the bus!

I am building it's twin check for yourself http://forum.earlybay.com/viewtopic.php?f=2&t=14289" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

I have the Fuchs alloys etc for my white 68!

Waiting on the narrowed/lowered beam, and 944 Porsche brakes to be able to bolt up the wheels

Can't wait till mine is to the point your is at, I am jealous.

Can I get a wallpaper size copy of the last photo for inspiration?

Keep it up

Brian

I have'nt seen it for a while so I'm going over to burhell to have a look see next week, get to have a drive for the first time too :D

O.K it's just about finished off now, going for registration inspection on Thursday, then it's getting an all over buff job done. When I get it I'm gonna ankor wax the rusty areas and polish the paint with collinite wax. They are also gonna wind the rear end down a little bit more, so I have a small amount of rake. I should be collecting it next Saturday.

It sure is, they have taken about 2" out at the front and rear. At the rear the metal that was taken out of the chassis rail at the bottom they have put the same amount back in at the top of the rail for extra strength. Engine and box have been raised too for a bit more ground clearance.

Sweet looking ride dude 8) - have you driven it yet then :?:
yeah had a short drive in it, but when i last drove it the gearbox was knackered :cry: , but it's recently had a re-con box fitted so it should be a bit quieter now :D .
It drove a lot better than a stock bus and it brakes just as well as my daily golf gti too. :D
