We've had a few viewings and an offer but she is still for sale! We have decided to reduce the price to sell before the winter and she has also just sailed though her MOT (last Monday) with no work needed - so she now has a full 12 months.
New price is £11,500 and is priced to sell. New photos are also now at the bottom of the post to show current condition, as I said in the orignal post below there is some work needed to get her into mint condition but she is very solid and ready to enjoy right now.
Thanks

After much soul searching we have decided to sell our 1969 Devon Caravette. We've owned this bus for about three years now and a move to a house without anywhere to keep her safe and warm means she ought to go to a better home.
She has only had 3 previous owners, two of which had her for the first forty years pretty much. She has a full service history and almost every document and bill the van’s ever had. 1st log book is also present in large box of information.
She has Porsche 356 alloys, is lowered and has a period stereo too. We have done quite a bit of work on her bodywork over the last two years and also fitted 3-point Wolfsberg seatbelts, a leisure battery and hook-up. We replaced the side-vented window with a slider and took off the side step but the originals will come with the bus so you can refit if you want. She had a new reconditioned engine 30,000 miles ago and hasn’t given us any mechanical problems since we bought her.
There are a few areas that need attention : a few small dents on the back, a couple of seals need replacing, the lock on the engine bay needs refitting and a new section of aluminium pole is needed for the pop-up roof. It really wouldn’t take much work to get her to mint condition but she is perfectly useable now and will be for many years more.
The really special thing about this bus is the original interior which is in really good condition and even has the original red leatherette cushions! There’s also a small child sleeping hammock for the cab area.
A camper-specific bike rack (carries 2) is also available.
She is tax exempt and passed her MOT without any problems, next one is due in August.
We are based in West Sussex, just off the M23 so viewing is most welcome. PM/email with any questions.
We are looking for £13,000 for her. Thanks.
