Cheers Paul,
Yea fancied a change, really wanted some of the Cog style ones but they are to expensive for me.

Just read your thread - some nice work goin' on there 8)
Oh - and congrats on the extra bundle of joy :D

After a few long trips in the bus I decided I would like to add some sounded deadening to see if I could make the ride a little more pleasant.
After speaking with Drew I decided to follow his route of SilentCoat. So I order a pack of 30 2mm sheets to start with along with some 20mm noise buffler under
bonnet foam, this also tides up the engine bay nicely.

First I cleaned down the area with thinners as it had some oil and muck from the old tar boards and from when it had an engine let go over in America.

The I put the 2mm the the buffler.

You can see in the image the front of the engine bay has the 2mm and the rear has the 20mm.
When I get it finished I will post a pic.

Whilst I was in the engine bay with thinners it was rude not to reveal some more original paint.

Not much of the white left now. It's a grim job and much more than an hour gets my head aching a bit.

Thank you Craig, the thread is a bit behind, when I get 5mins I will update
