Still ticking along doing stuff to the bus, splashed out on some bling for the motor…

Billet pulley kit from my friend Robert King in California, quality is outstanding. Look him up on Facebook & Instagram, he produces some cool stuff and has a 61 bug 2783cc autocraft engine. 230hp to the wheels n/a!!

Got distracted by polishing little things 😅

Also had some paint matched rattle cans mixed and gave the interior rear corner panels a lick of paint. Put back in with some nice stainless steel rivet and refitted the Mallory ignition controller and nitrous relay box not a concours finish but looks good enough for me 👌🏻

Hi K@rlos, I really like how you installed your remote oil cooler, I think I'm going to copy what you did as it is a very clean install. Is your cooler installed only using your 90mm exhaust clamps around the torsion bar housing or is it also attached somewhere on front ?

If you have other pictures of your installation it would be nice ! Also really like your torque bars "à la" CSP for your gearbox.

Yes mate, quite literally just exhaust clamps around the torsion housing. I also put some rubber pipe over the ‘U’ piece of the clamp in order to absorb some of the vibration. Works perfectly, has air flow going down the the length of the fins and pulls the heat out nicely. Even on the hottest days the engine doesn’t exceed more than 215f.

The use of the CSP torque bars should hopefully work keep the box more firmly in place when launching it at the track
