Would the tin top crossover mafia please stand up!
I was offered this bus this weekend for a reasonable price and I could not resist buying it, but I have 2 other projects going on and have no time or funds to work on one more so it is up for sale for 4500 GBP or best nearest offer including shipping to Felixtowe, that's right shipping included from Long Beach, CA to Felixtowe, UK. I am not in a hurry to sale but I will bring it to the VW Classic in 3 weeks where it should sale right away. It has a clear California title signed from the previous owner ready to add your name to it. It is a project bus that you can start driving right away as it comes with a recently rebuilt dual carb engine , it fires right up and drives very smooth, it has brand new brakes on front including new rotors and calipers. You can see the pictures is very solid and in decent shape, but enough about the good. Please look at the pictures as there is a few small dents around the bus, very fixable, the paint job is not that good specially the uppper color, the engine runs and drives very smooth but it stalls when you come to a stop, sounds like needs carbs adjusted. The Westfalia interior is complete but the old guy who owned it decided it would be a good idea to apply a fresh coat of brown paint to all the wood interior  I have some clean westfalia doors and some replacement upper plywood that I will throw in to help with cleaning it up. I will post more pictures to the link later today, if you have any questions or want pictures of a specific area let me know, but I did check before buying it that it was solid underneath, it comes from the California desert very close to Arizona so it is very dry. The front tow bar is removable as this bus was towed with a huge RV , I can remove it or leave it's your call.
