211501615 1955 rear brake drums

Hi Guys,

I know that 211501615G are the correct rear brake drums for my 1970 bay, but I have sourced some 211501615 1955 drums and wondered if anyone has fitted them before, if at all possible?

I would try and fit one to test and compare, but not that pratical at the moment

I spoke to a friend today and it is believed an early splitty drum could be used though would require machining to work. I don't I will be going down that route as seems a waste of NOS drums. So back on the hunt for rear drums again
