Non of the carbs for sale on this tread are reconditioned as I dont fit them with full rebuild kits. I do however replace any worn seals or parts.

Some have been carefully stripped, vapour cleaned and reassembled by me. Some carbs are cleaned out on the inside only and blown out with the air gun.

All the carbs I sell are tested. I run them on a stock 1600. I dont sell carbs that dont work properly, or have siezed bits etc. Any carbs that I have that are suspect are broken for parts.

Testing them allows me to check the following
Straightness of spindles
Straightness of butterflies
External fuel leaks
Pump jets.
Internal leaks (usually leaking past pump jet)
Floats and fuel shut off valve

I suggest you get these fitted by a qualified competent mechanic and get him/her to check them over too. The carbs will need setting up on a rolling road or by a competent mechanic with an LM1.
This may involve a change of jets, emulsions tubes or chokes.

No offers

36mm vents
Nos F11's not the usually burred spanish or chinese rubbish
150 mains genuine italian weber (used)
200 airs
52 idles
Empi pump jets
Needle valave and seat changed to used itlaina weber

These carbs have been in the Sonic bath
Floats set.
Butterflys reseated

Worked perfect on my stock 1600 test motor. No issues with shafts or balance.

Ive done a lot of work to these carbs to get them working absolutley spot on. All brass parts/jets changed to genuine italian weber including nos f11's. No chinese or spanish brass jet/emulsions/stacks/airs in these carbs.

Carbs may need a change of jets or emulsions tubes to get them spot on but i cant see them being far off at all.

Would suit a bug with 1776 to 2276 motor with 40mm intakes, or a big bus motor.

You aint going to get a good working set of 44's as cheap as this anywhere

Near Mint set of 40DRLA's £225 plus shipping. SOLD

Stripped inspected cleaned and put back together. Carbs have been checked on my test motor and are in perfect working order.

These are a matched pair from the factory with matching tags. Original finish on both carbs with the gold anodising still in place. Near perfect very hard to find a set that looks and works as good as these.

28, 30 or 32mm chokes (you choose)
125, 130 or 140mains (to suit chokes)
55 idles (reamed)
180 tall airs
.1 emulsion tubes
35 pump jets

Would suit any thing from a stock 1600, to mild 1776 or 1914 or 2007/2110 bus motor. Will run nice on a 1600 or 1641 with 28 chokes which is nice if you are planning a bigger motor later on.

No sticky spots on spindles. No bent spindles etc. Nothing seized.

I have checked for fuel leaks and there were non, i suggest you do the same once you have got a competent qualified mechanic to fit them.

I have got the jetting close so these carbs will start and run out of the box but to get the best from them they will need setting up on a rolling road or by a competent mechanic with an LM1. This may involve a change of jets, emulsions tubes or chokes.
Badpoints - non

Cheers Mick

40 DRLA's grubby £150 now £130 plus postage

Not a matched pair from the factory. But all chokes and jets match so they will work as a pair just fine.

Havent done any cleaning to these at all, or modified anything.

These carbs are dirty on the outside but very clean on the inside. I simply dont have enough time to clean these at the oment

Ive had them on the test motor and they run perfect. No bent or sticky spindles, no wear, all screws turn free and easy etc. Perfectly balanced.

Bad points - dirty on the outside. Some surface rust on one of the spinldes, doesnt effect how they work at all

These work flawlessly.

28mm chokes
.4 emulsions
135 mains (genuine)
55 idles (reamed)
35 pumps
175 airs

Would suit a 1600/1641 or mild 1776/1914. Chokes make these perfect for a bus motor.
