68 door handles

So have a set of pattern door handles/locks (fed up with random keys) that I got from C&C at last Busfest . Came to fit them and find they do not plunge enough to operate lock release . Any one else had this problem ? (will fix it with a spacer) works without gasket !

Bad news bud, I guess that can go on the ever growing list of new stuff that need a damned good fiddling with to make work as nature / VW intended.

Try speaking to C&C they were quite good when I have dealt with them.

Easy fix, just added a washer to back of plunger!! Not talking about drivers door as that's the one I cocked up putting new skin on , sorted though
