Had the intial report today from my VW garage....It's looking very fixable.

Going to need work on the front panel, 2 x rear corners, engine lid, rear valance and a rear bumper. Not touch the chassis :D :D :D :D

Just waiting for 100% go ahead from the insurance company.

Not going to get it back until Christmas

Balls , !

But atleast its all going to get sorted and they are not going to write it off

Try to get that blue sticker on the engine lid replicated as i thought that was cool ,

Hope it all goes well Matt , is it at a VW place or just a good body shop

So sorry to hear about the shunt Matt but glad you were all ok. ;)

Cheers Jake,

It is a real sh*t. It seems like endless phone calls at the moment.

Were both fine, just still a little stiff ;) ;) ;)

It's with my VW place/garage. Been loyal to them for over 15 years, they more m8's really.
Will do a f*cking good job and are really busy, hence why it's going to take 3 months to get my bus back

Vans been stripped and inspected. Looks like the damage may not be as bad as first thought. The front wheel saved the front and the rear looks like it was saved by the tow bar.

Should have the assessor sign off the various quotes and work should be able to start next week. So he could be back for Brighton. Fingers Cross :D :D :D :D

Looks like they have done a great job with the repairs 8)

Don be behind the wheel again

Hes back!!!

Few minor rust repairs to the front arches....

Free gift thanks to "Mr Zurich"

Very happy to have my bus back. It's only been 10 weeks. Repair work has been done very well, the "aging" looks spot on (sort of).
