69 Sliding door and engine cover differences?

Hi guys are thee any differences in the sliding door and engine cover on the 69 model year and other early or late model bays. I need to source some rust free panels this year so need to know what to look for.

Late bay engine cover is a different size i think. sliding door will fit i think but door lock is in the panel not the door handle like early bay

You need a '68-'70 engine lid, Lid was changed to the smaller type in 1971.
Try fbi vw in Swansea, they always know their stuff if you tell em what year ur van is. Ur better sticking to an early sliding door but may have ur work cut out if it's r/h/d.
