I have a early `72 pick up .

At the moment i`m running 3.5 inch lowered spindles , red 9 coilover kit & slam tyres .

The problem is , i`m getting tired of my beam smashing into the road , but i dont want to raise the ride height .

Looking around i think i need to change to a K&L beam to gain more ground clearence .

The questions are ,

What do i need to do to the pick up to make it fit ?

What parts do i need to keep with disc brakes & narrow 5 stud ( if poss ) ?

Dont think i can really afford to get everything in one go so i`ll be buying as & when parts come up .

Thanks for any advice .

To do this you'll need:

a slamwerks king and link pin beam - late bay bolt pattern.
4 64-67 or VW Brazil trailing arms.
1 64-67 link pin set.
1 55-67 idler arm or get your bay one machined.
1 set of 96> VW brazil drop spindles.

Your 71/72 calipers and discs will not fit the VW Brazil spindles. You'll need to change to 73-79 discs and calipers.

We have plenty of this stuff in stock at the Haus.

Thanks for your help . (Again , Got your spindles on :D )

I`ll send you a pm for prices & stock levels .

Think i`ll be going for your dropped spindles again , very impressed with the quality .

:D
