Advice on bodywork repair please

Hi

Please do point me at another board if this isn’t the best one.

I have a 72 Westy that’s in good nick and I want to keep it that way. The garage I use for general repair are impressed with the general lack of corrosion (it spent about 35 years of its life in Australia so that helps!)

There are a few small paint bubbles and a couple of bodywork issues that I’d like to get assessed. I really don’t know whether tackling this stuff as soon as it’s visible is the best policy or whether what I’m seeing is relatively minor and it can wait a bit longer.

I’d like to get someone involved who has specialist T2 knowledge and recommendations would be very much welcomed. I live in north Derbyshire on the edge of the Peak District (a few miles NW of Buxton). Manchester, Sheffield, Stoke, Derby are all within an hour or so to drive. Do any of you have experience of bodywork repair experts in that sort of area who know their stuff, will give an honest assessment, will care for a vehicle as much as we do and won’t rip off a customer.

They restored my Bay in 2010 & its still looking really great.
