whats the treatment for the pitted surface after digging out the corrosion, do I grind and fill or is there a chemical? (these are merc painted alloys)
Not had to deal with this myself, but would leave it to the professionals. Yellow pages/Thomson/Auto trader etc will have contacts. Too easy to make a mess and end up with trashed wheels. How would you protect the repaired rims? Think the laquer is best baked on. Suspect it's a case of biting the bullet and spending hard earnt cash, part of the reason I'm running steel rims.......
