What sort of price would you expect to pay and how effective are they.

I know they command high bucks for splits ????

Think the pair we were selling at work went for £40 but that was tested and they were perfect.
Don't think they are many people looking to boost the cold air system in their vans over here though

They are alright, they do give you some airflow when your sitting still as oppose to none. Obviously not up to modern standards though.

Just be careful as you could get some that are buggered or on their way out and really noisy.

I've seen em for around £90 - 100 at shows complete with switch and wires. Not sure how good they are though dude.

Answered my question.

I'd just be buying something for the sake of an extra if you get my drift !!!

Cheers

Bluebird sell a modern repro £69.95 I think great in the summer months (sorry days)

I've found a complete set including wiring/switch etc. for just over a ton inc delivery, but do i really need them.

Mike

you can pick them up around the 70 mark with switch and wiring so over a ton is quite a sum plus bear in mind the added cost to re wire them when they go which there life electrically will be coming to a close, to re spin the motor will be 30 + ...... :? your call

they do make a cool accessory with nice switch though 8)

....no hartley put your wallet down and stay away from that ebay button.....

After agree with Aaron, unless you funneled your heating through the freshair
vents, then the fans would come into there own, but a lot of work to be honest :D

i find the winding the window down does the trick and with the added bonus of excercising my right arm :p .

I have them in my van and they are ace, just some nice demisting air when in traffic and a cool breeze in the summer when still.

I sold a spare set oneBay last year for £50 which I thought was too cheap, Id expect to pay about £100 ish. Maybe Im wrong though?

Would not sat i am a fan of Ambulances as they always mean trouble :?

YES.

I'm a sucker for buying stuff i don't really need. My excuse is that i'm currently on garden leave until the 7th and so not having to get up early to jump in the car and go to work can have a few glasses of the old plonk.

I' decided i wasn't going to get them but last night thought bollocks and paid via paypal for them.

I'm going to sell on the Porsche 911 steering wheel though to justify these. Just hope they work when they get delivered.

When i test drove Grants old 67 Devon they were fitted and did make a difference, however it was a hot summers day.

must admit I keep looking at them myself then walking away

I will inevitably get a pair though possibly a repro set from bluebird

Araon,

I'd rather spend a couple of quid more for an og pair with switch than the Bluebird set providing they work.

Repro will always be available but og are becoming rarer and in the long term prices will increase for these.
