OK need some tunes in the Panel Van so need to work out a plan to put some in

Want to put in 4 speakers , head unit with ipod link and amp and sub

Only one battery at the moment , will i need leisure battery or Ok with just one . :?

Cheers dudes

i would fit a leisure battery and dual charger if u plan on using the stereo at shows/camping etc, u can also then add some 12v sockets for other extra plug ins, and save ur main battery for starting

you can find it all in ur local halfords or on ebay

you will need

1 x Leisure battery
1 x split charge relay ( complete kits available on ebay )

fairly easy to do if ur competent with electrics, or know someone who can help ya

Very easy to do....and 12v doesn't hurt as much as 240 when you get it wrong!!!!

I bought my 110ah battery from local motor factor for £40 and the split charge switch from maplins for £10ish (I have since changed to a full zig unit but that is not necessary). 12v sockets are £4 each and then some good quality wire. Jobs a goodun'

It would take about 2 hours to wire up. You will definitely need a 12v tester (screwdriver bulb type).

Have fun

Diaphram , i mean diagram would be WELL helpful as i am doopid 8)

something like this, complete kit

Hi Grazy 8) you could try these for the split charging wiring / relay kits , they have a choice of 2 types on p69 & 69 of the catologue http://www.vehiclewiringproducts.co.uk

Leisure battery is a must for the show weekends. Ipod charges up through the back of the head unit constantly when plugged in so it lasts all weekend.

You'll only really need a 10'' sub in a bus, and four 6''x9'' speakers will sound good. I squeezed my front speakers into the kick panels, and the rear ones are in their own separate boxes which you can buy for £30 each (boxes only). These can be velcro strapped into the rear of the van so you can unhook them and take them out when its parked up at home.

Mine sounds pretty good set up like that :)
