Hello got my first bay at the beginning of the year needs a bit of work to get it on the road but I'm getting there :)
right its a 1969 tin top, i have just bought some mws brm reps. 15x5.5 and was wondering what size tyres i would get away with, without them rubbing on there arches?

was hopping to fit 175/50/15 on the front and 195/60/15 on the back will this combo work look right?
its not lowered at the moment but I'm planning to drop it by 2-3 splines on the back and i have got a 2" narrowed beam with adjusters to sick on as well.

any help advice would be much apreacheated

Thanks Lee

mine is a crossover and you wont get 195's on the rear....185's did on mine too so i went 175 all round.....

ok don't think i will risk the 195's or 175's then. have you got any pics of 175 them on your bus?

I have a resto '69 with BRM's. I've got 185/55 on the front and 195/60 on the back.
With a two spline drop I couldn't get the back wheels on or off.
Gone back up a spline and it's a bit tight, but OK.

have a word with a friendly tyre shop and try a couple of different sizes, as I've seen 205's on a 71 (small five), but could not get any bigger than 175's on my 70 (wide five)

That's prob a good idea, might ask my mate to keep hold of some old tyres he takes off other cars so i can try a few out before i spend my hard earned cash
