Anyone know any history of my bus?

Hi all ive got my bus of 6 months its a 1972 crossover moonraker currently in for a light restoe, reg HYW 677K I have old mot's but nothing other than that anyone come across or know any history cheers matt

You can write to the dvla and for about a fiver they send you details if the previous owners etc, all very interesting stuff

I did this but as my bus was a California import I only got the uk owners ( so 3 owners n 3 years for my bus )
I contacted the previous owners and had some good results.
Photos n info
Karmon connection imported my bus. They were disappointing not much info as they couldn't b bothered.
Shame as they have a good reputation normally
They seem to import only the best cars and campers but after sales not so good

If u write to dvla mention your building a history on your bus
Bit of advice from rickyroo as far as I remember
It worked

V888 form and £5 gets you a list of all previous owners - good if your bus has always been uk registerd - nt much point if it came from the u.s.

But still worth doing as u never know who imported it n owned it in uk before u purchased it !

i imported mine myself so i was the 1st owner.

Mines a UK panel van I sent off the v888 and it turns out it was Manfields main VW dealers own van for the first 5 years.

These stories are great i started a thread a while back and found my aunt and uncles bus on here too going to meet the current owner this year.

My reg number is CNJ592K anyone have any history on my bus??
