I have just fitted a Melling oil pump, and a CB Performance full flow pump cover, but I am having clearance issues with the tinware and flywheel, I was just wondering if anyone has had this before? I have been told to look for a slim pump cover. does any one know of a good cover to use? all of the ones I have found seem to be chunky billet ones.

Thanks

Mark

Melling? Is that the 30/32mm pump??

You don't need to go that big... I've seen over 80psi on a 26mm pump with external oil cooling...

And also with it being a cast steel construction, then it heats up slower than the case and can be prone to leaking around the body!!

You are probably right. But its fitted now lol. its an ally case with full flow and external oil cooler mid mounted under the van. So its probably going to help a bit. Although at the moment it is causing me grief with clearence issues.
