I'm having issues with the van so am now going tomorrow instead....................in a Mazda Bongo!

Was going to give it a miss, but decided at 7pm fri to go up for sat in me daily, took 4 hrs each way and cost £30 diesel, better than last year nearer 6 hours £70 petrol in camper!! was worth going and i am kicking myself for not booking camping tickets, still theres always next year.

Im driving up in the morning.
I will be going in the car, but get strange looks when i start to beep and wave at vans, when driving the car.
I usually get the you F***ing knob look from the other drivers.
I will be in this

Sooo please wave or look happy back.

Went for the day today (sat) and was really disappointed with it , Not many campers to look at (except in the car park) and loads of crap for sale. Full of half naked fat blokes off their faces. Shame as I have enjoyed this in show the past ! Gona take he camper to the beach tomorrow to reinstore my love for it. Oh must say that the high light was seeing Ant's flyer ...Cool as f*** well done that man.

We usually find the car park more interesting than the show.
Keep sayin every year we wont go again next yr cos its usually disapointing, but end up going back. :?

I was spoilt for choice where I am, in the Hythe area. I could have nipped across to the boat show, or I could have gone to the Beaulieu Auto Jumble, both within 15-20 minutes of me. I usually love the auto jumble. Some fantastic cars there, and huge amounts of parts and literature (veedub included) but I put plan B into action instead... painting the garage door, cutting the grass and other chores!

Hey Simon, Hope you and yours had a good day , Must admit I am tempted by the boat show and Doug well done for doing those chores , that's one for the memory bank !!

Had a great day, the weather was a bit hot  ;) .
Got our boat show tickets all booked up, so will be coming across on Saturday.
If the weather keeps up it will be a cracking day out.

I feel better for having done those chores Steve. Only taken me 6 years to get around to sorting that garage door!

Cheers steve :)..... we had a wicked weekend and loved the show...... i hear on the grapevine that there may be massive changes for next year, not sure what though.

We had a sweet time too. Can't wait for next year. Sorry you didn't enjoy it Steve. In my opinion it's far better than Santa Pod, that can be really rough

Definately booking up for next year. Only went for the day and theres no way we saw everything, definately a weekend show compared to some of the others that can easily be done in a day
