Hi all

My first post on here, and sorry to be plugging my parts straight away.
But i thought its the best place to do so, will have a lot more Baywindow parts coming.
I have had a lot of people asking when we are going to start making bay parts, as other stuff on the market isn't up to much (VW Brazil).
So through this year we will start making various parts in better guage steel and hopefully it will fit, will keep you posted as each part is made.
So here is the first parts, pick up/crew cab sides.
Pick up short £150-00
Pick up long £185-00
Crew cab £160-00
Can make for R/H/D and L/H/D

Call 02476398217 will have online shopping sorted soon.

There's some great skill gone into those panels - have I seen them in a magazine?

Now if you could make an Early front panel, that would be an idea...

;)

PS Cool forum name!

You read my mind. Spooky! ;)

I used Karls panels on my 60 resto and they were absolutely amazing......and have recommended them to all.

A screen repair would be another needed part to the list.

Keep up the good work

I have to admit probably the biggest one for the early guys is the front clip, no bulge to cut out, no cutting your old indicator retainers out....

they do look good quality ....

Whereabouts are you?

At last!! - in the past I have looked at your stall at various shows and always thought I should ask about Early Bay panels but somehow I always get carried away hunting down bits in the autojumble and forget to come and ask!!

lower rear corners with return lips? / complete front arches? / LHS platform trays? / engine lid upper seal flange?

Im particularly liking your second pic, especially the NOS (?) panels in the background, mmmmmm NOS!!

Very impressive looking workmanship, looking forward to seeing Early Bay panels

hey nice one guys !! quality looks great i look forward to some more in this bay series. hmmm front panal ? well im saying nout, just can see you smile . ;)

Karl has been Dirk Diggler for ages on the ssvc site, Ihave spent a fortune with Karl and Joe on there panels for the Single Cab pick up, and can honestly say thier panels are the DOGS DANGLIES..

Cheers for the warm welcome guys n gals, its a busy forum too.
Its going to take time to work through all of the parts and i will start with the most common to rot out first, like sills and the under side stuff. Next big one is going to be the rear side panel with small lip, as been asked about these a lot.
I need NOS panels, im finding it hard to get them. Prob because im known for split parts so get offered them all the time, but no Bay NOS, so if you have or know of any let me know. Pay cash or can come to some arrangement, but only panels that will sell.
Will keep you posted on here as soon as i have any new parts.

Hi Karl,

Welcome to EB :D good to see your making quality panels for bays now too :) . I'm plugging the site to all quality suppliers and if your after some cheap Banner Ad space let me know we are always on the lookout for trusted sponsors.

I think i speak for us all when i say we are looking forward to seeing some quality autocraft EB panels 8)

Karl,

you have a good RHD sliding door don't you? i just missed out on it from matt. i think most people would say that they could do with some RHD sliders :)

although i fear that your panels will be available after my restoration has finished, it will be good to see some nice gauge steel.

i used donor parts where possible for two reasons, thickness of the material, and fitment. where i could get donars i used schofield. although i found his stuff pretty good quality, i bought some tophat sections from him. one actual tophat and one replacement section. the actual top hat, which was a straight swap for the old was very thin. but the tophat sections you can buy lengths of was made from steel twice as think.

obviously the complete tophats he sells were made in brazil and the cut to length ones were made by him. typical result of cutting corners.

also, it would be interesting if you are going to concentrate on RHD or LHD parts, as RHD are rarer and usually the ones that are in need of most repair, but LHD may be more popular??

Nice work have seen your stuff at the shows always looks real quality work.

I guess if you did front dog legs people would snap your hand off, seems that most repro dog legs are rubbish i.e. dont fit.
