Avatar Woes??

I can't get my avatar to upload into the CP. It's the same one I'm using on the other forums but even when I reduce it to 33% (unable to be seen by the naked eye) it still says it's too big. When I try to look at the forum 'how to' section-it says I don't have permission to look ?

Any help appreciated

i can see it just fine? its the national flag?

can you attach it to your post? (if its not the flag)

I only put the flag up because I couldn't get anything else to work.

have you got anything larger? maybe 3-4 times the size that i can work with?

althought the dimesions are right the physical file size is 19K, the board only allows 6K max

if you send me a larger file i can make the dimensions bigger but keep the small file size.

I too have had exactly the same problems trying to get a proper avatar. :?

Just like you, I have reduced my chosen picture so that it is barely visible to the naked eye, and still no joy, and also like you, I don't have permission look on the 'how to' section. :roll:
