Mot due soon and i know the rubbers on the 4 balljoints need replacing but have heard your better off replacing the whole thing and not just the rubbers :?:
so any feedback on what you have all done and if replacing the rubbers is a good idea and of course its cheaper too for just rubbers
cheers shaun

I done just the rubbers as the joints were fine,a lot cheaper.if there is any play in the joint or water has got in or there is no grease in them I'd change them.Mine were perfect except split rubbers.(us bus).

I did my rubbers first then 6 months later replaced the all the ball joints to see if i can improve the ride. It made a hell of a difference to the steering and ride.
