Hi mate, up to 44 8) should keep him busy building them for a couple of hours :lol: could you post some pics of the install, rear of the unit , what make are the internals? And what's the crack with nighttime driving is it rear lit?

I have spoken to him and he needs to go away and source some parts for the numbers we need. Once he has done this(should be this week) he will get back to me early next week with figures.

He also said that he may be able to do one which gauges up to 6000 rpm instead of 8000. Will let you know.

Are these using VDO internals and are they Backlit?

Other than that there a lot of interest, us Earlybayers are getting exited about the possible prospect of an accurate reproduction/creation.

Hi Peter.

When I spoke to him today to ask about them he said that he builds them. I'm not sure whether this means from scratch or whether he uses vdo internals.

Will send an email to clarify and ask about backlighting.

Also said it shouldn't be a problem to have them reading up to 6000 rpm.
