Beetle to Bay support bar adapter

Hi guys

My 1600 single port seized on me yesterday! I do however have
a 1600 twinport (AD series) from a '71 1302S which I can fit but
I will need a support bar adapter bracket does anyone know how
these fit is any drilling/machinng of the case involved? any advice
appreciated Thanks

It bolts to the oil pump studs. You will need the adaptor, a modified oil pump cover and 4 longer studs for the oil pump.

what he said.... you can buy a complete kit(with all the above mentioned parts), got one on mine. had no probs with it. A mate managed to fit the plate the wrong way round on his and has leaked oil ever since..... not a drop from mine tho
