Hi can anyone point me in the right direction to obtain the birth certificate for my early bay single cab I bought off eBay I’m rely struggling so any help would be appreciated

There used to be a website that you would enter your vin no. and it would tell you all details.
But for the life of me I can’t remember where I saw it.
I’ll keep thinking. Sorry if that isn’t really helpful.

They've increased in cost a little.

I got mine from the VW museum at Wolfsburg. They send you an official VW certificate with the bus 'birth date' and where it was shipped to.

Be aware that if you are trying to use a birth certificate to register a vehicle DVLA are no longer accepting proof of age letters like the birth certificate that’s have a printed signature, it had to be a persons signature and not copied so letters from owners clubs are the only proof of ID they accept these days, the world has gone
