Just replacing my front brake flexi and the copper brake pipe is stuck solid in it and the pipe union is wrung off. I guess the only thing to do is to now replace the whole line which goes to a splitter under the front of the van. What's the norm for something like this? Can I just pop to a local garage with the correct length and they make me a pipe up with the two unions? What size unions are they and do they need to be male/female? Or can I just buy the front piece separately from somewhere all made up?

I am guessing this is cheaper than buying a good quality flaring tool which I would use once!

Thanks for any help.

you can get them seperately at heritage I think, but you'll pay more for them. As the other said, the local garage or motorfactors is you best bet.
