Bumper Coach Bolts

[Air Cooled Rookie]

I re-sprayed the bumpers on my cross over a couple of years ago and fitted new 'chromed' coach bolts. These started showing signs of rust within 6 weeks (no exaggeration) and are now totally rusty.

Is it possible to get stainless steel coach bolts for the bumpers and if so where can I get them?

i got mine from Margnor they are local to me and i just took an old bolt and they matched it up you could send them an old one

I've just ordered some s/steel coach bolts from fleabay to replace the top bolts on my westy pop top. think they were about £4 delivered for 5, but there were different sizes available, not sure what size the bumper ones are :?:

Give Frank a call at Avon Stainless Fastners in St. Annes, tho i think Valentineone got his in BQ, or there is a guy selling them as a kit on ebay (well he used to not looked lately).

just bought some bolts from gr fasteners at avonmouth if you can`t get it there you will not get them any where very helpfull as well, wanted to see pictures of my bus so of course i had to oblige :lol:
they have a website as well

If you don't mind me asking, do you remember the size of the pop top bolts, and where you got them from?

I bought a stainless steel resto kit from Volksbolts ages ago, but didn't recall any pop top bolts......
