A few years ago at New Quay Wales, dropped the clutch on the way there drove 50 miles with no / very little clutch, decided to take the easy way home

It used to be a very regular occurance with my old bus....I don't remember getting back from a trip without being recovered :lol:

First trip to France in the bus. Good thing, happened on the return leg home and able to stay with friends nearby for a couple of days who lived in Lezay close to Poitiers - they couldn't resist taking this photo. Couldn't be repaired - plug head knackered - so shipped back to Warwick.

Bad thing - ended up 'investing' in a new engine ....... still learning :lol:

Not really a recovery picture as it is on its way to the garage (where it has been for 3 years...) to start the ripping apart and then putting back together again :!:

It was probably a bit too ambitious to pick up the van and drive it from Portsmouth to Leeds... :lol: :lol:

Here's the van arriving on my driveway 3 days after picking it up :shock:

A bit like gninnam, mine is actually en route to the garage for its strip down and refurb........ unfortunately the en route began when we broke down in France......!
