I fitted my LHD one last summer after years of shite OG replacements.

Best fit-and-forget part on my bus :p

Hi lobie I've noticed you put the kit on the opposite side to me how is your pedal now is it quit stiff cos mine is just wondering if mine should be fitted like yours

Cheers
Mark

could be 2 different kits as rhd ones vary according to age .
Mark bung me some photos of yours fitted and will see if all is ok . If its a twin chassis rail or a Y double chassis type .

:) :) :) Finally got mine in. PO was the problem. Wish they would leave things alone.
Anyway all done , nice and smooth now. Thanks again Butty!!! Awesome piece of kit. Slotted straight in.

Hey dood, i have sent you an email this morning, just waiting for a reply 8)

Looking at getting this, however the pic of the LHD one on buttysbits website looks different to the one fitted on lobies van, which has a long rod, dont want to sound silly but are they different?

don't think so mate give butty a ring or drop him an email I did and he sorted everything out for me,

Your looking at lhd and 2 types of rhd ones so its all a bit mixed up on this thread . If yours is a left hand drive then there is only one type of kit , but right hand drive ones have the long rods . You think this is confusing try sorting out splits and late bays aswell lol .....

Ok many thanks, I have a LHD so will order that, not sure if I need one as I haven't noticed any problems with my accelerator pedal, but going by this thread it's been sold to me. [SMILING FACE WITH OPEN MOUTH]

Without trying ( and failing probably :msn4: ) to appear daft - could someone explain what this kit actually does? :?:

Everyone seems pretty impressed with it however I don't understand what it improves or makes better?

My accelerator pedal works pretty well - although it does stick a little after long journeys making the idle a little high although I put this down to the "metal foot" I installed as a laugh!

Sorry for the silly question - just trying to decide if its worth getting one!

Replaces the crappy bent bit of metal that sits under the floor and acts as your linkage with a nicely engineered solution that ensures you get full pedal travel and ensures your carbs can fully open (most of the original set ups touch the floor before the carb is fully open) and it has a nice return spring and feel to the pedal, its viagra for your throttle pedal Stu.

I'll agree with Graham there, best bit of aftermarket kit i've fitted to my bus. The change in feel of the pedal is amazing. Really smooth, and so much better. Simon (butty) is a top guy and a pleasure to deal with.

Cheers guys , i want to make things people like , so feedback is always welcome . Graham `Viagra for your pedal` i like it .... could be a mug in the making there mate .

New carb and manifold turned up today.... I might treat the bus to one of these as they have such excellent reports.
