Calling Irish Owners - Irish VW Shows

Hi Folks

Over in Ireland for 3 weeks from this weekend and wondered whether there were any VW shows happening in that time over in sunny ireland.

Will be on the west coast for the first week (doolin) and then over to our place in Loughrea, County Galway for the last 2 weeks.

Will be in the T5 rather than Hank as I have a lot of building work to do and the camping stuff to take as well

Unfortunately there arent any large aircooled only shows, we had Oxo 08 which had over 100 VWs, biggest turnout for a while over here.

There are several shows mostly organised by individual clubs themselves, you just missed Martin Murrays Eirespares at the weekend good show with 50+ cars vans in attendendce, theres 'Into the West', a camping trip to a site in Fermanagh Lakes in comparision as beautiful if not more so than the lake district, its organised by the NBOC and there should be a good selection of Dubs going to camp.

Fri 25th-Sunday 27th
INTO THE WEST 4! Camping in craic in Co Fermangh. Share Centre Lisnaskea. Some chilled out laid back camping in the "easy going" county. Full facilities and watersports.

Saturday 2nd
GOSFORD PARK VINTAGE VEHICLE RALLY- Annual show organised by CoArmagh Vintage club, always attracts a good crowd of dubs, with some camping over the weekend.

Saturday 23rd (DATE TBC)
VW DAY AT CULTRA MUSEUM- Last year was great this year will be even better! A joint show with http://www.gtini.com with all VAG welcome and free access to the museums for all entrants. Prize draw and all proceeds to CLIC SARGENT Cancer care.

Saturday 6th
KILBRONEY 2000- Irelands biggest classic car show with approx 1400 entries each year. Club stand of 30-40 with loads more VWs throughout the field. Big autojumble, entertainment, grub etc etc. One not to be missed!!
