No I do not have the product, but I have done a fair bit of research in these products and with varying results and the product that you have the offer on is pretty much the best on the market. However they are not the only ones selling it! (see previous link)
With all due respect with your snotty response I am simply showing that the product is available elsewhere and that it is at less than half the price. ;)

I believe that people should have all the information about products and the costs involved not just jump at the first opportunity that comes along.

And with regards to the app used it IS the same product using the same APP using the same network. And
:)
Wow there Lesley!
I asked some straight forward questions as I hate it when people thread jump without any real experience of what they are promoting.
I have no affiliation with camper tracker but I have met the guys and they seem ready to help with any problems or questions. The eBay item you have linked to looks nothing like the camper tracker one.
I pm'd you to let you know I had asked some questions.
I thought that the extra money was worth it for a tried and tested product.
I'm happy to save money thus me asking what your thoughts were.

Acting as an honest broker here I see the ebay item as cheaper but without the support offered by the full deal we are going for. Two good points of view but.... Personally I am happy to keep my name on the list and hope we get to ten asap so we can get the buying done and the fitting started!

Thanks Mike
I know we have the interest here now and to ensure we are getting a good deal I will contact the guys at camper tracker to get more information.
I never want spend money unnecessarily but also want back up of needed. The eBay item states that they only corespond by email which I'm my experience is dodgy. However if there is nothing to go wrong at it is a straight forward fit then it doesn't matter.
If anyone has any more info or wants to let me know their experience of trackers, let me know. Jon

Anyone from the recent group buy I aranged want to share their experiences so far to add to my earlier comments and help these guys with their decision making?

Thanks, that would be really useful.
The main thing for me is not having a monthly out lay.

I have been interested in getting a tracker for a while!

My motto is Buy cheap, Buy twice! You can't put a price on helpful advice if it keeps your pride safe from light fingered
ba$tards!

hiya, i wasnt involved in group buy on trackers but i did recently purchase a tracker with remote from China on e-bay,
£54 posted.
Item arived within 7 days no import charges,
before i was abole to fit it i had a accident in my works van and lost the instructions, i e-mailed the suplier and he sent me a copy via e-mail, so very happy with service,
I wasnt sure about what sim to fit as instructions said 3G sims might not work but bought a O2 one and put credit on
thought i would try it before fitting and just connected the red and black a battery out side and tried it, it works a treat (once i figured you have to put the " marks before and after what you want it to do,
fitted it yesterday to bus all hidden away with siren on to show when activated by remote control,
wiring is as simple as you want, just pos and neg if you want, or wire it to door switches, ign, siren, movement detector, there is a pannic button and reset button,
if you want you can set it to a certain area perimiter ect ect ect

must have waisted £2 in credit playing with it, to use it is as simple as ring it (once set up master phone number)
let it ring twice hang up and it will text you its position, as said with smart phones it then sends you co-ordinates that link to google maps and it shows on your phone where it is to with in a small distence,
you can set up something else in a computor but dont see the need at the moment.
I dont know if this is the same product but im hapoy with the one i have, and if you ar happy with the product you are looking at then go for it.
hope this helps Peter

That's the same one as the 2nd purchase I referred to. Identical to the CGMart (UK sourced) one except it has the remote fob.

Hi All

I have texted the guys at Camper Tracker for more information and with all the questions that have come from everyone, but I have had nothing back yet.

If they don't come back to me it may be worth trying out one of the cheaper options as suggested by others on here.

What do people think?

Jon

Hi All
Kev has got back to me saying:

"Hi jon, sorry for late reply, I have been away. Hope you are well? Regarding eBay: there are some cheap and nasty items on there, they are made in china, I have bought just about every one on the market now as research and to use on my own campers. I suggest you check the feedback for the sellers! Most of the cheap ones don't even work!! Ours come with warranty and returns plus helpline and app or you can take your chance with a fake made in India!! :) if they don't work I will give your money back!! Thanks Kev"

Let me know what you all think, it's your money.
Jon

I need to know that everyone is happy to go for this or go for the cheaper option. I don't want to mess anyone about.
I would need payment from everyone before I place the order.

Please could people pm me if they are 100%.

Jon
