looking for anew carb[ standard]. are bocar any good looks like replacement for solex any advice would be welcome steve

Bocar can be of varying quality if you're lucky you might get a good one, usually you end up using the body and swaping the jets over from a proper solex.
Having your solex rebuilt is probably a better bet.
Whats up with yours?

I stripped my P34-PIC 3 carb and replaced the bushes with the brass sleeves and in the end still couldn't get it to work. Got one from RetroDubs; which works and adjusts ok.
Can only guess the ports on the old carb were damaged, but if you can get your original carb going all the better.
